Business Purpose:
To develop applications and business opportunities for Haynes' alloys with focus on Corrosiont-resistant alloys.

Role Qualifications: (Required) & (Preferred)

Education: 
B.S. Met. E. or Mat. E. (R), Advanced Degree (R).

Experience:
5 years Plus Marketing and/or Engineering (R).

Areas of Knowledge:
Metallurgy with expertise in Corrosion Resistant Alloys (R), Corrosion Engineering (R), Applications Engineering (P), Chemical and Petrochemical Process Industry (P), Materials Engineering (P), Manufacturing Engineering (P), Welding and Fabrication (P).

Skills: 
Strong written and verbal communication, project management, technical and organizational skills. Ability to use technical knowledge to help customers find practical solutions.

Specific Accountabilities for the Role:
  1. Develop strategies and applications for growth of corrosion resistant alloys (CRA) in assigned market segments.
  2. Spear-head applications development of new products into assigned CRA market segments. 
  3. Develop strategies and applications for Haynes' products in other assigned market segments. 
  4. Develop yearly rolling 5 year market plan for assigned markets. 
  5. Work with Manufacturing Engineering and R&T in developing product forms for existing and new CRA's. 
  6. Identify business opportunities and product development needs based on knowledge of assigned CRA markets. 
  7. Develop customer relationships to obtain critical market intelligence; communicate market needs and direction. 
  8. Provide technical support to customers in timely manner. 
  9. Provide support in Special Projects management and maintenance.  Assist in developing forecasts for Haynes' overall (HRA, HTA and CRA) business in assigned market areas.
